BGC Okanagan selected as charity for Tree of Hope

KELOWNA – October 19th, 2022 – The Christmas Season is officially underway with the lighting of the Tree Of Hope (TOH) on November 25, 2022.

This year’s lighting is special, as it marks 25 years of supporting local charities powered by the Stober Foundation and TD Canada Trust.

“Our family never could have imagined that hanging a Christmas tree from a crane constructing Landmark 2, 25 years ago would become a charitable movement that is embraced and ultimately championed by our community” reflected Ken Stober.

“It is rare to create an annual event that lasts year after year, but what makes the TOH different is that lives are being impacted and changed for good, and to be honest, that is the source of its longevity and strength, that keeps powering the TOH year after year.”

Our family is very proud to be able to set up the tree each year to make our community stronger by investing in families. We are very excited to announce this year’s recipients, The YMCA and BGC who specialize in strengthening Families within our community” said Stober.
